Spina Bifada

Spina bifida is a neural tube defect that occurs when the spine and spinal cord don't form properly during early pregnancy. This condition can vary in severity and may cause physical and neurological complications, such as mobility issues, bowel and bladder problems, and learning disabilities. The most common forms are: spina bifida occulta, meningocele, and myelomeningocele. Treatment often involves surgery, physical therapy, and ongoing medical care to manage symptoms and improve quality of life. Early diagnosis and intervention are crucial for better outcomes.
