SeniorsPlus - Serves as the Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) for Franklin County. Based in Lewiston but covering Franklin, Androscoggin, and Oxford counties, it provides in-home care coordination, Meals on Wheels, Medicare counseling, caregiver education, and long-term care planning. SeniorsPlus acts as the central entry point for older adults and adults with disabilities seeking local and state supports.

Child Development Services (PEDS) - Operates an office in Farmington to assist children from birth to age five with developmental delays or disabilities. The program provides evaluations, early intervention therapies, special education, and transition planning as children move into public schools, ensuring families have coordinated support during critical developmental years.

Life Connections - Offers Section 29 Shared Living Services, which give adults with disabilities individualized home support in family-style settings. These arrangements provide less-than-24-hour care and focus on maintaining independence while ensuring safety and stability in a supportive environment.

MaineHealth’s Work Incentives Benefits Counseling (CWIC) - Franklin County residents who receive Social Security disability benefits can receive guidance on work incentives. The program helps individuals understand how employment affects benefits and teaches strategies to use programs like the Trial Work Period or Impairment-Related Work Expenses to move toward greater financial independence.

LEAP (Local Education and Assistance Program) - Provides comprehensive community support to adults with intellectual disabilities and autism. Their services include individualized case management—helping individuals connect with needed supports, build and track person-centered plans, and even handle representative payee functions—as well as residential assistance through shared living or small group homes. They also offer staff and community training, and maintain Stone Soup Gardens, an accessible outdoor space open to people of all abilities.

UMF Learning Access Center - Supports students with disabilities through accommodations in academics, housing, and testing environments. Located in Franklin Hall (Room 103), this office ensures equitable access through services like alternative testing formats, classroom accommodations, and accessible housing arrangements. Meanwhile, UMF also hosts an Assistive Technology (AT) library—part of Maine AgrAbility—within its Kalikow Curriculum Materials Center. This AT loan and demonstration library offers access to an array of assistive devices, such as communication tools, mobility aids, smart devices, and support for vision, learning, and daily living.

Maine Behavioral Healthcare - Offers vital case management and behavioral health services in Farmington through its Franklin Health Commons location. Services include mobile outreach, client advocacy, benefits assessment, crisis management, and emergency response available at local hospitals like Franklin Memorial.

Children's Center - Provides support for families and children with developmental or behavioral need. This center offers early intervention, special education, speech and occupational therapy, autism programs, behavioral support, targeted case management, and family support services.

Maine Accessibility Corporation - Serves the Farmington area by supplying, installing, and servicing essential home and commercial accessibility solutions—such as stairlifts, home elevators, ramps, wheelchair lifts, and automatic doors—to enhance everyday mobility and independence.
