Breath & Shadow
Spring 2013 - Vol. 10, Issue 2
"Again"
written by
Jennifer Ruth Jackson
Your touch stark, electric
A million bells and whistles
Strong hands caressing me
Defibrillator paddles bouncing
My body to life
Each nerve on end
Rising up to meet you
Begging for an encore
Flooding me with such sensation
I could drown, uncaring, last oxygen
In my lungs used saying your name
