As you may have noticed, the AbilityMaine website has not been updated since the end of June. The problem is not with the writers and researchers who work on the project, but with the publisher. I spent, with a short 5 day break, all of the time from June 29 through August 23 in various hospitals and a rehab facility.

This holiday was brought to me courtesy of a large pulmonay emboli and the following pulmonary infarction. With some hindsight, I could have taken a round the world cruise instead. It would have been cheaper and whole lot more fun. But, I probably wouldn't have received as many get well cards. Many thanks to all of you who wrote, sent cards, and made phone calls. It was all appreciated. And, thanks for the tip, Arden, I did finally figure out the gown thing.
