Commentary:

As a happy pet owner, I'm always trying to do the best for my dog. But, as a somewhat average human being, I'm also a bit lazy. Guess it's about time to get off my duff and start making my own pet food. After all, feeding your pet commercial foods is about as natural as living off TV dinners. Sorry, if I just insulted those of you who eat only TV dinners.

It's really not that hard to make your own foods and it might even be cheaper. A common homemade dog food mix is about 1/3 meat, 1/3 starch, and 1/3 vegetable. Check for yourself by using the search strings of "homemade dog food recipe," or "homemade cat food recipe." Bet you'll get some ideas and save money, too.
