Lost
by
Sergio Ortiz
There
is no simple way
of
getting misplaced
in
the city: too many signs,
landmarks,
and directions.
I'd
run, no walk, to be lost
then
found in miniscule
discrepancies,
so
minor strangers turn
their
heads and ignore
my
mismatched shoes.
Ortiz
has a B.A. in English literature from Inter-American University, and
a M.A. in philosophy from World University. His poems have been
published, or are forthcoming in: The
Acento Review, Poesia,
The Driftwood Review,

The Taj Mahal Review,
and many other journals and anthologies. His chapbook, At
the Tail End of Dusk
(2009), was published by Flutter Press.
