When I Was Alive

I felt alive once.
When dusk brought a symphony of colors
To the sky
And fireflies danced to cicadas' hum.



Erica Ratti has been writing fiction since fourth grade and poetry since tenth. This will be her first professional publication.  Erica is a New Jersey native whose work is influenced by both the urban and rural areas she grew up around. She is a chronic migraine sufferer.
